Only want to own one pair of skis? You should reconsider that. But if forced, reach for the Peak 98. It leaves trenches on hardpack and blows up powder.

If you ask us, the Peak 98 is the ski that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. It’s that versatile. Looking at nothing but groomers today? You can cruise at family speeds or blast super-G turns. Off-trail in powder, crud, chalk, or corn, it’s nimble and floaty enough for all but the deepest of resort days. The 98 defines the all-mountain category.

These are the easiest skis I’ve ever had to keep on edge. I own 8 pairs of skis and tune them all myself. I can get the edges razor sharp, unlike my others, using the same tools and methods.

Skiing the 98's is like strapping Teslas to your feet and hitting auto-pilot. The skis don't make you a better skier ... they allow the better skier in you to blossom. I've skied for 50+ years, and I haven't skied this well in decades. The stability and carve are exceptional. I bait the 20 somethings by asking if they like to ski fast and if they mind if I tag along. The confidence these skis instill allows me to be waiting at the chair lift line a chest-thumping thirty seconds ahead of them. Youth is simmering inside me and my Peaks nourish that feeling. Bode, Dav ... thank you!!

  • Great Ski!

Northeast skier and these skis are amazing. Have skied ice, junk and east coast concrete powder. The ski has handled it all great. Really like how the edge locks in but also supports a quick transition from turn to turn. Can’t say enough and get lots of questions on the lift!

Haven't had a lot of time on them, but initial impressions are highly versatile and great edge hold. They can turn any radius and the edge hold in hard icy conditions is equal to or better than previous generation Bonafides with much less effort. The 190 length option is nice for larger skiers.

  • Worth the risk!

I always consider buying a ski you haven't test drove a risk. However, I felt that if anyone is going to design a ski that is performance driven, it would be Bode Miller. So I took the risk, and have been very pleased with the performance of the ski. I am a 69 year old Mid-west skier and have skied it on sketchy man-made snow, hardpack and ice at Killington, Sugarbush, and Jay Peak, as well as warm corn snow. What I like: it is stiff and light, initiates well, holds an edge, and maintains line even in rough conditions. This is one of only three skis in my life I consider a game changer.
