Only want to own one pair of skis? You should reconsider that. But if forced, reach for the Peak 98. It leaves trenches on hardpack and blows up powder.
If you ask us, the Peak 98 is the ski that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. It’s that versatile. Looking at nothing but groomers today? You can cruise at family speeds or blast super-G turns. Off-trail in powder, crud, chalk, or corn, it’s nimble and floaty enough for all but the deepest of resort days. The 98 defines the all-mountain category.

New skis, new skier.
Coming off of an 88/170 I thought the 98/178 might be too much ski for me but they have settled in fantastic! Very easy to turn and takes the bumps well, much easier on ol the back-a-rooni. VERY fast too. I was also concerned they would be too wide for East coast skiing but I have had no problems what so ever. Some of the most mixed conditions I've ever skiid this season and it blew through all of it with ease. 9/10 dentists recommend.

Skied the Big Couloir at Big Sky with the 98
The 98 was perfect for the variable conditions of the Big Couloir at Big Sky. Stable and steady in the steep and drove thru the heavy snow pack. Getting the 104s to compare for next year.

Incredible Skis!
I purchased the Peak 98s as a compliment to my Volkl Kendo 88s and I'm sad to say – I'm not sure when I'll use my Volkls again. I enjoyed every minute of skiing on the Peak 98s: on piste, off piste, hard snow and soft snow. I was shocked by how light the Peaks felt. Maneuvering through tight spots was easy and carving at high speeds was also easy. I look forward to many more hours of skiing on these beauties and I'd absolutely consider buying a 2nd or 3rd pair from Peak.

Best all-mountain skis I've used!
Where to start? From the thigh-burning hardcore drive forward, unflappable stability in different snow types, the ability to change my turning radius on a dime mid-turn... absolutely my favorites.

Fun Skis
I have a pair of Peak 98's. The skis have amazing turn initiation. I also loved their behavior of icy hard snow. Also, a nice ski for 6 to 12 inches of new snow. The skis are playful and I have a good feel for the snow.
