PEAK® 98 BY BODE

Love everything about my 104s. They handle well in pretty anything from spring crud to moguls to powder. I like them so much, when they went on sale, I bought a pair of 98s and 88s. Can't review them yet, because I haven't even put bindings on them.

Can that exist? Like Peak says, if you’re out for a one-ski quiver this is it (my current quiver is 6 incl. the Peak 88’s; killers). The keyhole thing is the real deal. The ski is playful and responsive with short turns and low edge angles, yet holds like a sumbitch when you tip em over at speed for deep edge angles and long sweeping GS turns. Tips float up nicely in powder and are well behaved in bumps. Lastly, these skis have personality – they don’t feel or behave like a mass-market brand. I love em. There might be limits but I’m yet to find them.

I purchased my 98's this spring. I have to say they are the most fun and easiest to ski of any I have been on. They carve like a dream and are very stable at speed. I don't think my other skis are going to get much use anymore. Thanks peak team for building a great ski.

Rating based on my expectations. I ordered my skis on March 16th, so our ski season was over by the time I received my skis and did not have the opportunity to go elsewhere to try them. Will let you know as soon as I can get them on snow. Expecting good things!

I unfortunately most likely won't have a chance to ski on my Peak 98 by Bode skis, length 184, before this season comes to an end. However, I love the look and feel of them out of the box. Two other primary reasons for my 5-Star review are related to Peak's outstanding customer service. First, the exact skis I bought were a lower price shortly after I purchased mine. I asked Peak if they would honor the lower price on my purchase, and they issued a refund for the price difference. Second, Peak's satisfaction guarantee offering customers who purchase skis in the spring or off-season the opportunity to actually use their new skis until December of that year, and return them if they don't love them, is as good as it gets in the industry.
