If you ask us, the Peak 98 is the ski that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. It’s that versatile. Looking at nothing but groomers today? You can cruise at family speeds or blast super-G turns. Off-trail in powder, crud, chalk, or corn, it’s nimble and floaty enough for all but the deepest of resort days. Bode Nailed this Ski
Skied my first two days on this ski (Peak 98/178) at killington. Eastern Conditions have been a bit rough this season, so far, and Killington served up a variety of challenging trail surfaces. I have been a Bonafide Fan for years and I have to say that this ski is a really amazing change for me. It put a smile on my Face very quickly after a couple of runs. I would order it a little longer as opposed to shorter as with the rocker, the 178 skis very close to my Bonafide 173. I think it will make most intermediate skiers better quickly and any advanced to expert skier should love it. I also agree that the Look Pivot binding makes it feel even better as it definitely compliments the skis flex underfoot. It was hard for me to order a pair of skis without demoing first, but I am glad I took the time to do it. It is not like any ski I have ever been on and it felt stable right out of the box on day one. As I tried various types of turns, It just performed even better. I have been a fan of wider all-mountain skis for a long time now. I ski all over the mountain and conditions can vary drastically from trail to trail so just getting a carving ski does not appeal to me. This ski will go anywhere, through anything easily, as far as I can see so far, and is absolutely a blast at higher speeds as well as cranking quick, precise turns. I would highly recommend this ski.

First impressions are always important
First impressions are always important and they look great and have a nice weight to them. When the ski shop mounted the binding, they were really impressed with the construction of the ski, so much so they looked them up online and asked me to comeback with some feedback once I had skied on them. I was looking for a multipurpose ski and over the last 4 weeks in both Canada and Colorado I have skied the full mix of snow conditions. If you only want to own one ski, the 98 ticks all the boxes.
