Only want to own one pair of skis? You should reconsider that. But if forced, reach for the Peak 98. It leaves trenches on hardpack and blows up powder.
If you ask us, the Peak 98 is the ski that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. It’s that versatile. Looking at nothing but groomers today? You can cruise at family speeds or blast super-G turns. Off-trail in powder, crud, chalk, or corn, it’s nimble and floaty enough for all but the deepest of resort days. The 98 defines the all-mountain category.

Great Ski for a Power Skier
These skis perform extremely well in all conditions. Used them for six days in telluride with a mix of everything from ice to powder. Skiied groomers - blues and blacks, moguls, bowls with powder, hard packed powder and lastly skiied double back trees with powder stashes. They are skis that require work from the skier. Unfortunately I only weigh 150 pounds and I'm 5'11 (had the 178s) and after several days skiing it was becoming tiring. They are probably perfect for a slightly heavier skier. Now here is the amazing part of Peak as a company, wrote to them with feedback and they recommended the lighter Dav 98 model so I proceeded with the effortless exchange. This is amazing customer service and a company that stands by its satisfaction guarantee. They've got a customer for life. I'll write about the Dav 98 soon, pretty sure they will be perfect.

Ski at your Peak
My buddies told me I needed to buy Peak skis. I took their word for it and I bought them. I tried them out on the east coast and couldn't believe how well they carved on hard pack/ice and when it warmed up they floated beautifully on soft slushy snow.

Smooth operator
I just returned from 1st trip of the season. The ride is the best I've had since the days of 210 cm GS skis. Edge hold is fantastic and skis are not scared of speed . What's equally important is opportunity to play in the trees and manuever the crud. Skied with a smile on my face the whole trip

Daily Drivers
I bought Peak 98's in 184 cm for the 2023-24 season at Big Sky. They are amazing on groomers, hard pack & a skiff of fresh (unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to try them in deep powder yet this low-water season). They have the best edge hold of any ski I've ever ridden. No chatter, directional and love the chopped up stuff as well. You do need to drive them though. No standing in a neutral position and easing into it. They demand to be driven, which is a plus.

Awesomeness
This ski is the best ski I have skied in years - perfectly capable of the crud here at Mammoth and sooooo fun carving on the groomers. Other 86 + wide skis simply wash out carving - these get after it.
