Only want to own one pair of skis? You should reconsider that. But if forced, reach for the Peak 98. It leaves trenches on hardpack and blows up powder.

If you ask us, the Peak 98 is the ski that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. It’s that versatile. Looking at nothing but groomers today? You can cruise at family speeds or blast super-G turns. Off-trail in powder, crud, chalk, or corn, it’s nimble and floaty enough for all but the deepest of resort days. The 98 defines the all-mountain category.

Awesome! I used them for the first time last week. The SkyHole technology really works. The 98s really held the turns on hardpacked snow. These skis felt so much better under foot than my Volkl M5s. Skiing the PEAK 98s reinforced my decision to make a small investment in the PEAK company.

Loving these. These skis can hold an edge like a race ski but don't take the same energy to do it. makes them way more forgiving in east coast garbage - but then ready to rip when it firms up on the scratchy days. You get what you give with these skis. But they reward you for the effort. Big fan.

After 2 runs I got the the balance point dialed in. Then the skis ripped iced corduroy all day. They skied exactly as advertised!

As a masters ski racer, I like to get high edge angle on my skis and usually choose a ski can perform on groomer's and have a separate ski for deeper snow and crud. With the 98 ski, I can do it all, carving with good edge angle and mixing it up with some deeper snow and moguls. Can't say enough about this ski. All you need as this one.

These skis perform extremely well in all conditions. Used them for six days in telluride with a mix of everything from ice to powder. Skiied groomers - blues and blacks, moguls, bowls with powder, hard packed powder and lastly skiied double back trees with powder stashes. They are skis that require work from the skier. Unfortunately I only weigh 150 pounds and I'm 5'11 (had the 178s) and after several days skiing it was becoming tiring. They are probably perfect for a slightly heavier skier. Now here is the amazing part of Peak as a company, wrote to them with feedback and they recommended the lighter Dav 98 model so I proceeded with the effortless exchange. This is amazing customer service and a company that stands by its satisfaction guarantee. They've got a customer for life. I'll write about the Dav 98 soon, pretty sure they will be perfect.
