Only want to own one pair of skis? You should reconsider that. But if forced, reach for the Peak 98. It leaves trenches on hardpack and blows up powder.
If you ask us, the Peak 98 is the ski that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. It’s that versatile. Looking at nothing but groomers today? You can cruise at family speeds or blast super-G turns. Off-trail in powder, crud, chalk, or corn, it’s nimble and floaty enough for all but the deepest of resort days. The 98 defines the all-mountain category.

They ski with or wothout you
The Peak ski performs to your slightest wish. The skis seem to know when to turn and when to carve effortlessly and respond to all conditions. By the time you think turn, the ski has done the work and lets you enjoy the ride while being in total control. he ski can hold an edge in the moguls and can let you carve like a pro on the groomers. Just trust this ski and have fun.

Love em
These skis have made me look like a fantastic skier. They carve well, they're fast. Great for groomers as well as dabbling a little in the fresh snow.

Full blown believer
I am a sucker for some good ski marketing. They whole "key hole" story worked on me - but the left side of brain was screaming just another boutique ski brand... BUT - with some solid days on them now from 14" in UT to scratchy days in VT I am a full believer I f'ing love these skis. really. the edge hold makes me smile like my Stockli Laser SLs. But they feel nimble edge to edge like a wood core twin tip. I have never had a non-race ski that gave me more confidence to 'finish' a turn so aggressively on hard conditions - without terrifying me that i can get back onto the other edge. But still be fun in the woods or moguls. Its not a ski you can ski lazy on - but why ski lazy. I am in love with these skis.

Peak 98
I have only been able to get on them a couple of times. Unfortunately they arrived after I had left for a week in Utah. Powder day at Stowe they were excellent and a groomer day they were very good, but I like the 88's much better for the all mountain conditions ie. groomers, moguls, woods, firm surface. Maybe it's just more what I'm used to. A little more under foot, which I need to get comfortable with.. 88's are quicker which is what I look for in general. Nonetheless, the 98 is a solid performer, just better in soft, powder conditions. Going forward I will bring 98's to Utah and use the 88's @ Stowe 75% of the time. A good problem to have.

A better Volkl Mantra
Have the same edge grip and power as the Mantra (2013/14 model) but so much more skiable everywhere on the mountain and in the deeper and more variable conditions. Amazing everyday ski!
