Ski Length Guide

Skiing is addictive because the terrain and snowpack are always changing. You’ve gotta adapt. That’s where the Peak 88 comes in. It’s the go-to tool for workaday groomer skiers, but catch the corn cycle or drop into a chute in the alpine and it arcs fall line turns off-trail, too. Smear-turn them at will, or absolutely rail. Once they’re under your feet, it’s up to you to decide.

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping on any purchases over $50 in U.S. That applies to returns too.

Elsewhere else in the world, the customer pays shipping, duties and fees, which is all easily calculated with our FedEx app at checkout.

Free Returns

Don't love your skis? Exchange or return for a full refund. Any skis purchased after March 15th can be returned for free until December 31st of that year. If you buy and receive your skis after December 31st, you have 30 days to ski them and decide.

Warranty

While unlikely, it’s possible that you will receive a pair of skis with a minor flaw. It’s also possible, while out enjoying your skis, something goes wrong with them that is unrelated to the ski conditions or environment. Should a circumstance arise where you discover a flaw after putting your skis on snow, and you are the original owner, we will happily replace them for up to three years from the date of purchase. Enjoying your skis is paramount; if enjoying your skis results in damage to the skis from any number of hazards that exist in the mountain environment, we trust that you’ll understand if we have a tough time replacing them due to conditions or circumstances outside of Peak’s realm of influence.

Peak® 88 by Bode

Whats Under the Hood

If not for the KeyHole™—and our dedication to delivering a smooth flex in each length—the 88 might come off as burly. Two full sheets of metal sandwich a paulownia and ash core and the bottom alloy runs “over the keys” in ski engineer speak. What the hell does that mean? The ski’s edges offer more bite.

But don’t get scared off. Because the 88 is built around our concept of “accessible power,” it only skis as hard as you do.

Peak 88's

I love my Peak 88's. I only got to use them once, but I can tell what a great ski they are. Perfect for East Coast skiing. Keep it up Peak!

These skis do everything great!

Purchased these 88's based on how my 104's skied out west this past year. Typically an all mountain ski does everything ok and not anything great. Not with the Peak skis! They definitely are a daily driver.

Fun in all conditions

I took a leap of faith buying skis without being able to check them out first at a brick and mortar store. I can say that I am pleased with my purchase. The new boards have seen all conditions already. On the SoCal Icy hard pack, they held an edge with no chatter. The ease of initiating turns on hard pack groomers at Mammoth made these boards fun for an older skier recovering from his 5th knee surgery! I was lucky enough to be able to take them for a ride in the trees on a snowy day at Bear Mountain that ultimately produced 12+ inches of fresh champagne like powder. Yes, SoCal powder that felt like a day in Rockies. The 88’s actually handled the Powder well and kept me floating down the hill. I only wish I would have stepped up to 176 cm instead of the 168 cm length that I purchased.
I am contemplating a set of 98’s for the next powder day……..hopefully!
I do agree with another comment about scuffs and small chips on the top layer of the skis. The top edges seem like they need some protection to keep that nice textured finish looking good.

Not Used Yet!!!

Unfortunately, I have not been able to use my new 88's. They look fantastic and have the flex that I was looking for. However, 2 days before I received my new skis, I broke my ankle in an unusual ski incident. As a result, I have not actually ridden the skis! However, that did not prevent me from ordering 98's and 104's, which have arrived. Excited to get my ankle back working properly and hitting the slopes early next fall here in Summit County CO.

WOW! Just, WOW!

Hype, I think not! These things truly are amazing. Even though I have only taken about 20 runs on them, I am in love. They really do cut like a diamond. The only complaint; I wish they had a tip guard on them to prevent scuffs! Otherwise, AMAZING!
